Recruiting to build a PA team at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Park Slope Brooklyn.
Currently taking applications for 3-11pm Monday thru Friday.
Under the direction of the Supervising Physician, the Physician Assistant will perform consultations for ENT conditions as requested on the floors, ICU and ER.
Perform H&Ps, place orders for diagnostic work up and treatment. May serve as 1st or 2nd assistant in OR.
Provides post-operative care.
Conducts afternoon rounds on inpatients with Senior ENT PA and or ENT Attending(s).
Collaborates with other caregivers and ancillary staff to ensure smooth and efficient care.
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies; Licensure as a Physician Assistant by the State of New York; National Commission Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA);BLS and ACLS within one year of employment.
Preference given to those with prior ENT experience or those with surgical experience.
